I discovered ScienZe a couple years back by way of this video. I love the lyrics, the beats, + the vibes. It’s always refreshing to see us in love- Black women being loved up on instead of arguing, bent over and half naked, posing as the other woman, being violent or mistreated. And there’s nothing necessarily wrong with those images; I don’t care to see them too often, but sometimes they reflect reality. What I would like to see is better balance in art-from music to the movies-especially right now. ScienZe’s sounds and visuals always show us in a positive light and celebrate his love and appreciation for Black queens.
This is real hip hop. The authentic shit. We need more like him.
