Ask questions. Do some research. Form your own conclusions. Beware of the zombies.
Think.
Unplug every once and a while.
Information overload is causing people to follow the herd and no longer take the time to completely analyze the facts before forming a conclusion. Gazillions of photos and excerpts of data are sent out daily on social media, at lightning speed, across the internet, which brainwash the world population into forming opinions based solely […]
Ditto to your assertion. However with all that we’re inundated with, the problem is that we need our brainwashed of all the dys and misinformation and (e)ducation.

I assume you mean our brains need to be washed of so much of the nonsense we’ve taken in as truths… I definitely agree with that. And we need to keep our minds open to healthy debates and not shun people that have formed different opinions.

This is so true. The internet can really wear you down sometimes. I’ve taken breaks myself. We all need a break from the matrix madness.

I wonder if all these memes or whatever they are called are actually making a difference in the world? I really don’t know. It’s as if true activism or getting out there and doing something that truly counts has turned into I’ll just post a picture of a catchy saying. I guess social media has become the new way to give power to the people -_-. Don’t get me wrong it has changed the game for the good and bad but too many people are consistently locked into their phones and nothing else. They never even think to take the time to look up and see the beauty in REAL life.

I am with you on that. They can’t even enjoy the moment without tweeting or posting a picture. And I’m all for capturing the moment, but moments often lose their sanctity when you share with strangers. Not everything needs to be shared. And sharing does spread awareness, but means nothing if nothing outside of the screen is being done.
Many thanks for your honest comment.
