Sigh.. after a six year hiatus, she’s FINALLY back! Corinne’s sound is just pure and etherial & paired with jazzy, funky, chill tracks – you have yet another masterpiece of an album! The Heart Speaks in Whispers takes a different avenue than her last release, The Sea, which, in my opinion, was very melancholy and dark, so I’m really digging the contrast. I appreciate The Sea, but you know how you have to be in a certain mood for certain music or you just might break down? Yea, well it’s like that. How lucky we are to have artists like Corinne who are raw and vulnerable and let their pain {and joy} be felt through music.
Cool visuals to match. This will no doubt be my vibe all summer.
