honey, travel yourself first. the world, later.

Or maybe both at the same time? I believe you can, and most likely will, travel to new parts of yourself when you actually travel. Like on a plane. And self-discovery is an ongoing process. But, possibly, the writer just meant travel yourself first instead of trying to find yourself in new places. Like a destination addict that believes happiness lies somewhere else…

I dunno. What do you think?

  1. You can do them both at the same time. I was talking to a guy a couple years younger than me about just going out and being by myself sometimes. He didn’t think that he could do it. I asked him how he got to know himself and what he is capable of doing and not doing. Just threw a seed in his ear that will hopefully blossom. But I say explore the world and yourself! Never get stuck in your comfort zone!

    1. I like the idea of doing both at the same time. Exploring the world is a great way to learn more about yourself – your perspective, your fears, where you’re confident, your likes and dislikes, what you excel at, your weaknesses… I agree
