i hate to say this but a lot of our people our women especially be having me wanting to turn back to the old me. I can’t keep putting up with that nasty attitude and behavior. I know it’s not all of our people, but any wicked thing that happens to me is always from a black women or man.
I understand; you have to protect your energy. And sadly Black people as a whole have been raped of their true value, power, traditions… Buuuut I am curious what in this post sparked that response? An old you birthed a new you, so what is there to go back to? I know you know that people’s behavior toward you is merely a reflection of themselves and doesn’t define your character. Sounds like your letting some funky attitudes turn you into someone you’re not anymore.
I can’t go back but I am talking about the old teenage me who had the same mindset as every other black teen (rapper mentality). These days black people have been making me want to just get money and “shit on niggas” you know how rappers say. It’s like the only thing they “respect” is someone flaunting material wealth.
Yea, I still like the safety one.

Gotta step out. There’s growth to be had. Yes it’s scary but at least try. I’m talking to myself too.
