Remind your daughters that they are more than their physical traits. (their breasts, curves and their thighs). yes, you are beautiful, but that’s not enough to pay your bills. to put food on the table. you are not a one night stand to soak all your sugar and honey for every man that passes by your lane. teach your daughters self love. how to feed themselves with enough softness and poems before their lovers arrive. teach them to celebrate themselves at an early age. teach them to never lose their language. to speak it unashamedly. Remind your daughters that they are not for everyone. let them know that they are queens. teach them their roles as women. teach your daughters. teach them but show them by being a living example of your truth. – Karen Owusu
