We all remember the Episode of Parks & Recreation where Donna, Tom and Ben spent the day treating themselves, right? No? Just me? Anywho, the objective was that you don’t need a lover to treat you. Don’t wait on others to splurge on your behalf. Do it for yourself! With enthusiasm and no hesitation. You deserve it!
That’s why I love the idea of 18-year-old Zandra Cunningham adopting this term for her recently released gift boxes at select Target stores. She was probably around six months old when this episode aired, but she clearly knows the importance of self-care and self-love. Already! And the fact that her uplifting products are also plant-based is the cherry on top.

Never heard of this TV show or those characters but the concept sounds interesting. I have not owned a TV in years. Nor do I go to Malls or large department Store stores since I don’t like crowds and the stores give me the creeps. Pampering myself is any time away from people or spending time around animals or nature. Right now the temperature is in the Single Digits in New York City but I look forward to spring.

The next time I go to Target I will buy Her products. As Black People we must support each other. I’m proud of Her. Hopefully Her brand will be distributed through other stores like Walgreens and Rite Aid.
