Gray Suede, my blog’s original name, was inspired by my love of fashion, the color gray and suede being one of my favorite fabrics. (Deep, right?) It started out with a fashion focus, so the name was fitting. Gray Suede wasn’t my first choice, but it was the only domain name on my wish list that was available in my budget at the time.
In 2018 I think? I changed the name to black burgundy to give somewhat of a nod to my shift from inspirational style to lifestyle, the lengthy spectrum of Black American issues and personal thoughts and works.
I kinda miss the fashion though; those were simpler times. I might have to work em back in somehow 🤔
What’s the meaning behind your blog’s name? Did you give it much thought?
Couldn’t think of names at the time

The Four Freedoms is what I decided to change my blog’s name to, after starting with Human Cooperation blog. The famous speech by FDR about covers what I hope will resonate with even those who do not believe that our country lacks opportunity for many people. I am hoping, with the name the 4 Freedoms, to inspire those who do not understand what our nation lacks, to look a bit deeper at the needs of all of us.

I love that title. The name alone is thought provoking.

I like the simplicity of your former and newer blog name. Mine is…just a name. 🙂

Thank you. I like that you can’t pinpoint what it’s about just by the title.

Thomas is my last name and it just seemed easy as I was blogging about my point of view.
