You know what’s crazy about this quote, “the only difference between us is where in this world our ancestors got dropped off..” Literally about a hour ago I was thinking to myself about how we separate ourselves with titles of places. I was thinking about how Jamaicans are quick to say their Jamaicans and have pride in it and there is nothing wrong with that, but a lot of times we use these titles as dividers between us.
Important to note for when we do diaspora wars and oppression olympics among ourselves online

Right! I’ve dated “Jamaicans” that were born and raised in America and they cling to that heritage. We love being “different” for the wrong reasons.
