Shero included photography highlighting the female heroes in our everyday lives—the ones that don’t make millions or grace headlines. The mothers, community moms, teachers, aunties, doulas, corner store clerks, older cousins, daughters, sisters, coaches, wives, grandmothers and medicine women who shape the world. The ones who wipe our tears, tell us he’s a dog, braid our hair and show up when no one else does.
