Reminds me of the saying, What you allow will continue.
One has to put bad behavior in check from the get go.
My Dad used to say, Don’t mistake kindness for weakness.

Yes indeed! Sometimes people don’t know their behavior is hurtful. But much of the time, it seems as if they just deal with people who put up with it.

This is one of my favorite quotes from Dr. Phll because it is soooo true.
My grandmother’s favorite saying was, “start out how you can hold out.” In other words, don’t start doing, accepting or allowing anything that you don’t plan to continue to endure 🙂
Good to see you Ms. Kelley 🙂

Yes! Great to see you as well, Lady G!
My mother says the same thing! But it’s something like “don’t start out doing anything you don’t plan on doing.” Like if you meet a man and you’re cooking gourmet meals for him every other night, he’ll become expectant. Duh! Send your authentic self, not a representative! Just like dudes hitting you up regularly for conversations and outings just to stop once they feel they hooked you. Nah, that is not how ANY of this works!
Thanks for your comment. It’s always nice to see your face in the place.

Alright now! They spoke from experience didn’t they? I remember trying to start out in a way that I couldn’t hold out and it liked to KILLED me! LOL!!!

LOL right! Sometimes people think their real selves are not enough, which is never true!
